Tomer Jossef Studio was born from a deep passion for craftsmanship. What began as a part-time pursuit quickly evolved into a full-time studio, driven by growing demand for thoughtfully designed, handcrafted furniture, the kind of pieces built to be cherished for generations.
We blend the precision of traditional joinery with the efficiency of modern tools and techniques, creating bespoke furniture that balances form, function, and timeless appeal.
At TJS, our commitment goes beyond making and finishing. We place just as much emphasis on service, offering each client a highly personalised experience from the first design conversation to final delivery and installation.
We work with sustainable and reclaimed timbers, premium hardware, and natural, chemical-free finishes to ensure each piece is as responsible as it is beautiful.
About me
I've always been a creative person- from drawing, painting, and sculpting as a child, to studying theatre in high school. My creative journey then led me into the culinary world, where I spent almost a decade as a chef, working in restaurants and catering, creating countless dishes and recipes.
Woodworking began as a hobby, but quickly became a true passion. I was drawn to the depth of the craft, the techniques, and the idea that a piece of furniture, unlike a beautiful dish, can be appreciated for generations. That sense of permanence, of legacy, deeply resonated with me.
My design sensibility is inspired by a blend of influences, Danish, mid-century modern, and Japanese minimalism with each piece reflecting my own interpretation. I’m especially drawn to clean lines, subtle detail, and timeless joinery that showcases craftsmanship without excess.
Above all, I genuinely love what I do and there’s nothing more rewarding than seeing the joy my work brings to my clients.
